Lookin' forward to the week-end!

I just finished my Spanish homework, and now am derping on DA.

As some of you may have heard, Beatle (TheOriginalBeatleBug) and my mom visited me over the weekend. For the most part, we shopped, listened to some groovy tunes, ate good noms, watched Doctor Who and Mean Girls, talked about fun stuff, and painted our nails. ^^ I found this cute nail design that reminded me of the Fourth Doctor's scarf, and painted both Beatle's and my nails like it. Beatle showed me these hilarious Doctor Who clips and the first episode with Sarah Jane Smith in it (and at that moment, I swear a lot of Sour Patch Kids disappeared from the 1.9 lbs. bag I bought last week). We both got Doctor Who t-shirts and pins, Beatle got two, cute, flannel shirts from Target, and I got Coldplay's A Rush Of Blood To the Head CD (and The Black Keys's El Camino, but rumor has it that will be a Christmas gift to me). The three of us also bought a dozen of doughnuts from The Donut Shop and ate them every day this weekend. I think one of my favorite parts of the visit was when Beatle and I watched Mean Girls. She said she had not seen it all the way, so I had a fun time watching her reactions (mostly to the "She doesn't even go here!" scene). Oh yeah! The pin I found is pink and has the quote, "That is so fetch!" on it.  

Overall, I think we all enjoyed ourselves. I won't get to see either of them until Thanksgiving, so the visit was just what we needed.
