John sat up against the floral couch in his grand living room with a notebook and pencil at hand. Tapping his pencil against his thin, chapped lips, he let his Buddy Holly glasses slip to the tip of his nose and skimmed the sunny room for something to go next to his tea cup, Winston Churchill look-a-likes, and random cat doodles.
